Francis Kleynjans (born 1951) is a French guitarist, composer and teacher. At the age of 14, he began studying classical guitar with Alexandre Lagoya at the Conservatoire National de Musique in Paris and later with the famous Venezuelan guitarist Alirio Diaz. His talent earned him a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. As a composer, he won the first prize at the 22nd International Music Competition in Paris. Paris Guitar Competition for his composition "À l'aube du dernier jour". His output includes more than 700 compositions, which are performed all over the world. His style is often described as neoclassical with influences from French composers such as Debussy, Ravel, Fauré and Satie.
