A collection of four pieces for four guitars (guitar quartet) written by Petr Benett for beginners and intermediate guitarists. The publication includes the score plus separately inserted parts for individual guitars.
The book includes a link to a website that allows you to download recordings of the pieces included in the publication to your computer to get an idea of what the pieces sound like. The audio recordings are in mp3 format and were made from the notation software in which the pieces were written.
Petr Benett (*1976) is a Czech composer, arranger and music teacher. He studied trumpet and guitar at the Military Conservatory in Roudnice nad Labem. He is a teacher of guitar and brass instruments at the Primary School of Art and Music in Jičín, and is still an active trumpet player in various symphonic and entertainment ensembles and orchestras. For more than 25 years he has been composing and arranging pieces for his pupils and students as well as for various musical ensembles and orchestras.
