Donald Thomson is a pianist, composer and freelance music editor living in Scotland. He accompanies the Dalkeith Singers and Southside Choir in Edinburgh on piano. Thomson's love of music came from his mother, a piano teacher, and studied music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. As well as playing and composing, Thomson is in demand as a music engraver , creating scores for many well-known music publishers.
