Product description

The compositions of Bedřich Antonín Wiederman, which are presented in this collection, are the first editions of these compositions.  In selecting sources, preference was given to the author's manuscripts in the Czech Museum of Music in Prague or from the private collection of Irena Chřibková.

Bedřich Antonín Wiedermann (1883 - 1951) was an organ virtuoso, music teacher and composer. He wrote more than 300 compositions, mostly for organ, but also many choral songs on sacred texts. Most of his works have remained unpublished; manuscripts and authorized copies are available in the Czech Museum of Music in Prague, and other manuscripts are in private collections.
