Antoni Cofalik (born 1940) is a Polish violinist, teacher, and composer who has contributed to the development of string instrument education not only in Poland but also abroad. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow, where he later also worked as a violin professor. Through his teaching, he has influenced generations of young violinists and has become a respected author of didactic literature for string instruments. Cofalik is best known as the author of study and concert pieces for beginner and early intermediate violinists. His compositions often combine technical development with musical appeal – players not only learn the correct playing technique, but also develop a sense of phrasing, rhythm, and musical expression. He is considered one of the most important creators of pedagogical repertoire for string instruments in Europe.
