Opis produktu

The journey into the history and recent past of original Czech piano music offers a representative representation of Czech classicism (Benda, Dusík), the Romantic period of the 19th century and the turn of the 20th century (Voříšek, Smetana, Dvořák, Fibich, Suk, Novák, Janáček) and various compositional styles of the second half of the last century (Martinů, Vřešt'ál, Kabeláč, Eben, Dlouhý, Sluka). All compositions are originals, without any modifications and simplifications.
The leading Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek (*1979) responds to the needs of practice with his album of recitals for solo piano, recommending to young, moderately advanced pianists easier pieces by important Czech composers. Even the most demanding pieces do not exceed in technical difficulty the level of lower grades of conservatories or other music high schools. In selecting them, he not only applied his refined taste, but also took into account their popularity with teachers and pupils.
