- Who Walks In When I Walk Out
Product description
Famously recorded by Ella Fitzgerald with Louis Armstrong, here's a medium swinger from the early days of jazz that makes a perfect showcase for a charismatic vocal soloist (optional duet for female and male). Everyone will have fun with this nostalgic romp! (Can also be performed using a duet of trumpet and tenor sax.)
Louis Armstrong (1901-1971), also known as Satchmo or Dipper, was a famous American jazz trumpeter and singer. He is considered one of the most important jazz artists of the 20th century.
Ella Fitzgerald (1917 - 1996) was an American jazz singer, sometimes referred to as the "Queen of Jazz" or "Lady Ella". She excelled in purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing, timing, intonation and improvisational skills, especially in scat singing. In a career spanning more than 50 years, she has worked with nearly every big figure in world jazz, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and Benny Goodman.
