Product description

Karel Ruzicka (*1940) is a famous czech jazz pianist, composer and music teacher. Title „In The Garden Of Time“ is not just some improvisation (certainly it has important contribution), but mostly it presents changes in a musical language of jazz. For those, who dream about being a jazz pianist, this title could have similar meaning, as for adepts of Beethoven´s Für Elise or Mozart´s Turkish March. Moreover the CD is an author´s submission with a demonstration of improvisational transformation. It creates a pleasant atmosphere for listening. Author develops his resourcefulness already more than half a century. Words of an author „First piece on the album and also CD is „Fake beard“. I wrote this song when I was 17 in 1957, it was my first publicly played and radio broadcasted composition. Other pieces are not sorted chronologically, but rather according to their nature and tempo. Compositions in the title were formed during the broad time span, therefore I named the title „In The Garden Of Time“ .“
