Product description

RADIO ALBUM is a very interesting series where all the songs are arranged in such a way that they can be played or sing by as many musicians as possible. Each song includes arrangements for solo piano as well as arrangements of the melody line with lyrics, chords and piano accompaniment, plus there are included solo voices for instruments in the tuning of C/Bb/Eb.  The songbooks can therefore be used very well for solo piano, solo voice or solo instrument (flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophone, ...) with piano accompaniment or, thanks to the chords, also with accompaniment on another instrument (keyboard, guitar, ukulele, ...).
This songbook brings you ten well-known songs by one of the very famous and popular Czech singers Marta Kubišová (*1942).

Marta Kubišová (*1942) is a Czech singer, actress and moderator, multiple winner of award the Zlaty slavík and a signatory of Charter 77. She received the 2017 Český slavík award for Outstanding Personality in Czech Music in connection with the end of her singing career. Her song "Prayer for Martha" became a symbol of national resistance after the occupation of Czechoslovakia by Warsaw Pact armies in August 1968. Among her best-known songs are also "Lampa", "Cesta" and "Nechte zvony znít".
