Vaclav Tucek was a czech composer of the 18th century. In 1973 professor Jiri Kratochvil published a clarinet concerto composed by this czech composer and found later on amongst parish stuff in the region of Kourim. Thanks to its tuniness and technical accessibility, this piece of work became right away popular amongst young clarinetists and their teacher and today it belongs to the fundamental elements of their repertoire. Its quality was shown already twice when this piece os work was chosen to be the obligatory composition for the giveaway-Concertino Praga. A piano part and a separate part for solo instrument are included.
