Easy guitar compositions were created according to the needs of students to improved tone creation together with development of the function of the right hand.
Each composition has a certain methodological intention, but they are not etudes, but recitation compositions, and therefore it is necessary to play them not only technically correctly, but also to support spontaneous children's musicality. All compositions are include a brief methodological note, which is based on the essence of the creative intention to strengthen the basic habits of guitar playing.
The compositions are written for beginning guitarists, they are intended for pupils of the 1st and 2nd year of playing the guitar at the age of 8–10 years, and this title is a suitable instructive supplement to any guitar school for beginners.
Stanislav Juřica (*1944) is a composer and teacher who taught classical guitar at the Pardubice Conservatory from 1978 to 2018. He was a co-founder of the International Guitar Festival with masterclasses in Mikulov, which is still one of the top guitar events in Europe. He is well known for his publications in the field of instructional guitar literature and transcription of Renaissance and Baroque guitar and lute music.
