Product description

A collection of piano compositions written by the Danish composer Niels Wilhelm Gade in the years 1850-1880.

Niels Wilhelm Gade (1817 - 1890) was a Danish composer, conductor, music educator, violinist and organist. His music was influenced by composers Mendelssohn and Robert Schumann. He himself influenced a number of later Scandinavian composers: he taught and encouraged Edvard Grieg, Carl Nielsn, Otto Malling and Asger Hamerik.
