This book brings you Astor Piazolla's Oblivion in an arrangement for violin, cello and piano. The book also includes optional parts for second violin, double bass, flute (oboe) and clarinet. From the original trio you can create a small salon (chamber) orchestra of up to seven members.
Astor Pantaleón Piazzolla (1921-1992) was an Argentine "tango" composer who created a new style of tango music called NUEVO TANGO, adding to tango the basic elements of jazz and classical music. Piazzolla is often referred to as the most important and greatest "tango" composer of the second half of the 20th century.
