Colorful fanfares is the set of 14 fanfares which is written down for a given instrumental cast - 3x trumpet in Bb, 2x french horn in F, 3x trombone and 3x percussive instruments.
The title “Colorful fanfares” was inspired by an image that each fanfare should have its own color in the name and that some of them could evoke the atmosphere of a specific occasion. For example, white fanfare is intended for a wedding ceremony, red fanfare for a festive occasion, etc.
All fanfares are suitable for music school students.
Libor Kubánek is a Czech percussionist, composer and percussion teacher. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory of Music in 1985. Since 1991 he has been a member of the Prague State Opera Orchestra and has been teaching since 1992.
