Product description

12 of Chopin's most famous compositions arranged for solo Alto Saxophone. In Chopin's Greatest Melodies, the most delightful mazurkas, waltzes and nocturnes from the Romantic period have been brought together in one publication. The CD contains demos of each solo as well as backing tracks for all the pieces.

Fryderyk Chopin (1810-1849) was a Polish composer and piano virtuoso of French-Polish origin. He is considered one of the greatest masters of Romantic music. He wrote his works primarily for solo piano and all his other compositions also contain a piano part. His major piano works include mazurkas, waltzes, nocturnes, polonaises, instrumental ballads, etudes, preludes and sonatas. He also wrote two piano concertos, several chamber works and several songs on Polish texts. Some of his compositions were published posthumously.
