Robert Loren Marsteller (1918-1975) was an American trombonist and music educator. He was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where he studied under Emory Remington. He was principal trombonist of the National Symphony Orchestra, served in the Navy Band during World War II, and then was principal trombonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra for 25 years. From 1946 until his death, he was a professor at the University of Southern California.
