Product description

Accordion tells is a book of compositions for young accordion players, but adult players will also find something to their liking here. Not only children want to explore, experiment, play and create. Here you will find many compositions and pictures that tell stories, develop imagination, expressiveness and the ability to improvise. With the help of short as well as longer compositions, the author leads the player to the gradual release of forms, short improvisations and experimentation with sound. In each composition there is space for the creation of sound coming from the instrument, whether in the form of tones or off-tone sounds, so-called extended techniques. Author these pieces draws from his experience in contemporary classical music and free improvisation, where extended playing techniques are widely used.
The compositions in this songbook will allow you to embark on an untrodden path of advanced techniques that can be used within traditional and less traditional musical genres.
