Opis produktu
"Zahrajte mi, muzikanti" brings you two Slovak folk songs "Zahrajťe mi muzikanťi & Čerešeň, čerešeň" arranged for ensemble playing. The arrangement is written for the so-called "hudecke" instrumentation (without cimbalom) and thus for singing, soprano recorder, two violins, violin contras, viola contras and double bass. A flute can also be used instead of the recorder, playing the same notation an octave higher. In the absence of a viola, the second violin contras (see the "violin 4/contras" part), which is included in the set, can be used as an alternative. Selected songs are stylized according to traditional folklore patterns. The arrangement allows for a "fuller" sound and greater expressive possibilities of musical accompaniment while maintaining the character of the folk song. Therefore, this sheet music can be used not only for a folklore ensemble, family music-making, but also for the concert stage. The basic equipment of every folklore player should be the ability to play creatively, and this publication should contribute to the acquisition of this ability.
The set contains the score including all the parts. The book also includes a link to a website where you can download demo recordings of each song, to get an idea of what the pieces sound like.
The music samples you can hear here is a sample of the songs as played by the notation program in which the songs were written.
Here you can see and listen to how the composition Čerešeň was played in this arrangement by the children's folklore ensemble "Kolíček" playing under the banner of ZUŠ Ilja Hurník in Prague.
Milan Ort (*1955) studied violin at the Prague Conservatory. He was a member of a number of folklore ensembles and many chamber orchestras, where he worked in the section of the first violins or violas. His compositional work is focused on the stylization of folk music from all over the world, especially from Moravia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. In his other pieces, he writes small solo or chamber compositions, mainly for children from Music schools.
