Opis produktu

Two compositions by Czech composer Jan Vrkoč - Duettino and Sunday Minuet.
Duettino is an easy three-movement serenade for two violins, the essence of which lies not only in the notes, but which is (to some extent) also a poem. Ladislav Vrkoč (Jan Vrkoč's father) once wrote a short poem after hearing the Duettino, which you can read below the score.
"The verses are strangely in harmony with the music; it seems to me as if the words and the notes become one inseparable song. The task of the musicians, then, is to play the music as if the instruments themselves were singing the poem."
Sunday Minuet is a small violin trio. Minuet is a dance that was played and danced in castles, danced by kings and emperors.  Make a festive atmosphere and play this minuet as if you were playing it for dancing somewhere in the castle.

Jan Vrkoc (*1969) is a Czech composer, violinist, music publicist and book designer. He studied violin at the Prague Conservatory and music composition at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. He is the author of over 100 compositions of various genres and musical styles.
