Maria Linnemann (* 1947) is a composer, teacher and artist. Born in the Netherlands, she grew up in Great Britain, where she studied conducting, piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has lived permanently in Germany since 1971. Her favorite instrument is the classical guitar, for which she has written more than 500 songs. She also composes music for other instruments, writes musicals and music for puppet theater.
