This songbook is basically a December songbook (but not only for it). December is the last month of the year and it is a time of fairy tales, songs and beautiful dreaming. It is a magical time, especially for our children. This songbook brings you twenty-three songs for children aged four to ten, and the songs are mainly focused on Santa Claus and the devil and Christmas themes and motifs. Come and sing songs that will put you in the festive spirit, that smell of pine needles, purple, but also of devilry and fun. Songs that will put a smile on the face of children and adults alike. Lenka Jakešová (*1966) is a Czech author of many beautiful poems and fairy tales for children. She graduated from the High Pedagogical School and after graduation worked as a teacher in a kindergarten, where she led the Vlaštovky choir for many years. Currently she helps in the Mateřídouška kindergarten centre in Hejnice, where she plays and sings for mothers and their little ones.
