Product description
The pieces in the present volume are taken for the most part from Mozart's so-called 'London Sketch Book', written on his English tour in the year 1764, at the age of eight. There are also several earlier pieces which the young Mozart wrote in Salzburg in 1762. The original text has been retained; obvious errors in notation have been corrected.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was an Austrian composer and piano virtuoso. He is recognized as a genius musician and phenomenal composer who composed both secular and sacred works. He was a child prodigy and from his childhood he gave concerts all over Europe. Among his most famous works are the operas The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni, as well as the composition A Little Night Music and his last and unfinished funeral mass, Requiem in D minor (KV 626)
