The Jazz Method for… serie is very well-made guidebook for beginners of all ages that will familiarize you with your instrument and will guide you through jazz play essentials from the first tone to handling famous jazz pieces and improvisations. There are many exercises and examples in this book, most of them are for your conception recorded on the attached CD including he „live“ rhythmic accompaniment. All the tracks are recorded in the way of dividing the channels on the left, where is solo instrument and the right, where accompaniment takes a place, so you can practice with accompaniment or listen to the solo instrument only. In addition there is attached individual chord marks part in this book, so you can optionally accompany some of the tracks using a piano or a guitar. Very worthy title!
