Product description

A collection of Czech and European songs, dances and carols from the 16th - 19th centuries arranged for trumpet in Bb or C tuning with piano accompaniment. The book include piano accompaniment plus pull-out solo parts for Bb or C trumpet. Three pieces are for brass trio (2x trumpet and trombone) .
Pieces for trumpets were arranged by trumpeter and trumpet teacher Lubomír Novák .

Lubomír Novák (1931-2019) was a Czech teacher of the trumpet and other wind instruments. From 1960 until 2015 he taught children and youth at the Art & Musics School in Prague, where he also founded and led the large brass orchestra "Žižkovská smršt" and the chamber ensemble "Basfifa". As a lecturer at the MLŠSH (International Summer School of Early Music) he led the children and youth orchestra class in Valtice from its foundation until 2015.
