Marko Čermák (*1940) is a Czech cartoonist, musician and tramp. He is considered one of the pioneers of the five-string banjo in the Czech Republic. Čermák was a founding member of the band Greenhorns in 1965. In 2007, he was the first Czech to receive a prestigious award from the International Bluegrass Music Association for his contribution to the expansion of playing to five-string banjo and country and bluegrass in the Czech lands.
