Product description
Based on the success of an earlier book for AMA Verlag [Ten Tickets for Two Roads], More Tickets presents 16 additional solo compositions that can be accompanied by a second melody. Through field testing with students, an effort was made to keep these pieces at a uniformly intermediate level of difficulty. The book!s companion CD- recorded and mixed at the Winding Road Studios in Lochgau, Germany- is meant to be enjoyed as a standalone recording as well as an educational aid; the authors suggest listening to the duet versions first, as in some pieces the entry of the second guitar part is slightly delayed. On second listening, the authors urge you to play along with the split-track recording, choosing your duet partner by adjusting the panning knob. Be aware, however, that those pieces with delayed entry of the second guitar will !begin! with the second part if the balance knob is turned to emphasize that channel. For even more fun and as an aid to keeping the beat, hand percussion or drums have been added to the mix. All selections appear in standard notation and tablature. Bilingual text in English and German.
