- Rhapsodie Espagnole
Product description
Rhapsodie espagnole (Spanish Rhapsody) is a composition for solo piano composed by Franz Liszt in 1863. The piece is very suggestive of traditional Spanish music, and was inspired by Liszt's tour in Spain and Portugal. When played, this piece takes roughly 11-14 minutes and contains many technical challenges, including rapid chords and octaves.
Franz (Ferenc) Liszt (1811-1886) was an Austro-Hungarian composer, an excellent pianist, conductor and music educator, who is one of the main representatives of Romanticism. As a pianist, he is considered one of the greatest and most famous pianists of his time.
