Product description
The cycle LES (engl. Forest) is four compositions for treble recorder solo and is determined for intermediate players of recorder. The compositions includes a few modern recorder techniques (e.g. sputato, glissando and sing and play at the same time). This cycle was written by Czech composer Anna Mikolajkova in 2005 during her studies at the Janacek conservatory in Ostrava. In the same year this cycle won the first prize in the national competition Generace.
Anna Mikolajková (*1987) is a Czech flutist, composer and teacher. She studied recorder and composition at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, then went on to study early music recorder at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz in Austria and composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in Germany.
