Jan Krtitel Jiri Neruda (1708-1780) - czech violinist and music composer. His concerto in E major for trumpet and string orchestra was published for the first time in 1968 as an obligatory composition for wind-instrument competition Concertino Praga. Thanks to his enormous talent and appreciation, his concerto made part of Concertino Praga many times after its first appearance. For this new edition, editor in chief Jiri Kratochvil altered this piece of work to better suit for concerts but also needs of music school´s students. A piano part and a separate part for solo instrument are included.
