Product description
Jezek, Jaroslav (1906 – 1942) – Czech composer, pianist and conductor who is also considered to be Czech Gershwin and who is also known as „The Third“ in Voskovec & Werich couple, or also author of the major part of known, excellent and still played evergreens from Osvobozene Divadlo. The song Bugatti Step was inspired by the Bugatti car that won with Louis Chiron first prize in Brno in 1931, it is prelude to Don Juan & Comp performance. This book amazes not only interpreters, but also audience with it’s dancy style, briefness and still wonderful virtuosity. I would divide pianists into two groups – the ones, who had handled this piece and the others who hadn’t. It is effective and gorgeous concert piece!!! Level of difficulty 5+
