Jazz etudes by Milan Dvořák, Czech pianist, composer and teacher at the Jaroslav Ježek Jazz Conservatory in Prague are pleasant, melodic and rhythmic studies from many of jazz styles – ragtime, latin, boogie-woogie, blues and many more. The aim of this book is to teach the pianist the essential expression elements in jazz music. The title contains 25 musically grateful exercises and 3 songs in addition. All the songs and exercises of this book can serve very well as a performance songs and can help the adepts of piano jazz play to handle technical part and serves as a guide for future advance and own improvisation.
