It is considered one of the most innovative and commercially successful music groups. It was founded in 1969 and is still active (2021).
David Walter Foster (*1949) is a Canadian musician, composer, arranger, record producer. He has won 16 Grammy Awards from 47 nominations. His music career spans more than five decades, mainly beginning in the early 1970s as a keyboardist for the pop group Skylark.
Maurice White (1941-2016) was an American singer, musician, songwriter and record producer. He was the founder, leader, principal songwriter and producer of the band Earth, Wind & Fire.
Allee Willis (1947- 2019) was an American composer, multimedia artist, collector, and artistic director.
