Postcards is a collection of nine easy and fun recital compositions (musical postcards from around the world) written by Daniel Hellbach for alto (treble) recorder and piano in the style of contemporary popular music.Two pieces are duets.
On the enclosed CD, all songs are recorded twice, in full (demo version) and only the accompaniment for you. Some faster or more rhythmically demanding tracks are also recorded on the CD at a slower tempo for easier rehearsal of pieces.
Daniel Hellbach (*1958) is a Swiss music teacher and composer. His musical style combines elements of popular, rock and jazz music together with classical music, and his compositions are very popular among young musicians.
