Product description
Though only a minor pendant to the great Cello Concerto, Antonín Dvorák's Rondo Op. 94 is an effective and entertaining piece that belongs in the standard repertoire of every cellist. Dvorák composed it in December 1891 shortly before leaving for America, and he gave the work its première performance on 3 January 1892 with his friend, the cellist Hanus Wihan, during his farewell concert tour.
Antonín Leopold Dvořák (1841-1904) was a Czech composer. He is one of the most important Czech composers and is the best known and most performed Czech composer in the world. Dvořák's symphonic and concert works are traditionally part of the repertoire of major orchestras around the world.
