Justus Johann Friedrich Dotzauer (1783-1860) - since his early age he started playing a piano, violin, clarinet, contrabass and horn, but his true passion became a violoncello. Dotzauer composed an opera, many masses, symphonies, 9 concertos, 3 concertinos and a concerto for 2 violoncellos, chamber and solo compositions, sonatas, variation, divertissement and pot-pourri. This is the firt part of his 113 etudas and there for includes the etudas 1 to 34. For every etuda there are certain notes and remarks in the book.
