Danny Elfman, full name Daniel Robert Elfman (*1953) is an American musician, singer and composer. He was a longtime member of the band Oingo Boingo. Although he has no musical education, he belongs to the most stylistically interesting composers of film music. He often collaborates with director Tim Burton, Sam Raimi or Gus Van Sant. He wrote the music for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish and Wednesday, Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Good Will Hunting, Men in Black, Fifty Shades of Gray and more... He also author of the theme song for the cartoon series The Simpsons and the theme song for the TV series Desperate Housewives.
