Product description

Looking for an intermediate-level, tasteful arrangement of the popular Pachelbel "Canon in D?" Here's your answer. This famous melody has been arranged with weddings in mind. It works well for both a processional or pre-service selection. Easily learned, this arrangement sounds more difficult to play than it actually is.

Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) was a German Baroque composer, organist and teacher, one of the most important composers of the Middle Baroque period. He composed a large number of sacred and secular compositions. His work enjoyed great popularity, he taught many pupils and his music became a model for most German composers. Today, his best-known work is the Canon in D major, which is one of the most famous pieces in classical music. His other well-known works include the organ pieces Chaconne in F minor and Toccata in E minor.
