The personality of Milan Báchorek (1939) is closely related to Moravian-Silesian region. Sonatina for flute and piano in three movements occured in 1964 during the composer's studying of composition at Ostrava Conservatoire with Miroslav Klega. Neoclassic work of a very fresh expression and melodic-harmonic invention has certainly found its place in Czech flute literature, even though it is beeing released fifty years after its creation.
