Product description
Collection of all six flute duets by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, the eldest son of Johann Sebastian Bach
Wilhelm Friedemann Bach (1710-1784) was a German composer and musician. He was the second child and eldest son of composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Although he was recognized as a brilliant organist, improviser and composer, his income and employment were unstable and he died in poverty. His work contains many temple cantatas and instrumental compositions, of which the most notable are fugues, polonaises, fantasies for piano and duets for two flutes.
