Ondřej Štveráček (*1977) started playing clarinet at the age of ten at the ZUŠ Litvínov, at the age of fifteen he switched to tenor saxophone and started playing in a local student big band. He continued his studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, where he studied saxophone. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Gustav Brom Radio Big Band, the Matúš Jakabčic CZ-SK Big Band and the East West European Jazz Orchestra. Currently he is a teacher at the International Conservatory in Prague in the field of jazz improvisation and performance. Under his guidance, a number of workshops have also been held in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Japan, Russia and South Africa.
