Product description
Come back to clearness and simplicity of the 17th and 18th century Italian songs with this publication. The songs were gleaned from old manuscripts and ancient editions. In transcribing the melodies the utmost care was taken to alter nothing in the originals. Melodies were selected so that none overstep the range of an ordinary voice, making it accesible to all. Selected and edited with biographical notes by Alessandro Parisotti. English translations.
