ABC Bassoon is a popular bassoon method based on principles that include musically varied and methodically sound exercises and etudes, a variety of musical genres, and technically and physically easier exercises with the younger ages of beginning bassoonists in mind. This bassoon method will teach you the basics of playing the bassoon by playing folk songs and arrangements and small pieces of classical music by Hungarian and international composers. Some pieces and exercises are written for two bassoons. The book also includes several photographs of the correct posture of the instrument with explanatory text.
