Product description

Klement Slavicky (1910–1999) was a great czech music composer. The first etudes that he published in 1966 have right away become very popular amongst young pianists and make nowadays part of most important music pieces of piano literature of 20th century. His ideas, unconventional handwriting and eternal energy promis a great experience for the audience but also for the musicians themselves. Grade of difficulty 3+

Klement Slavicky (1910–1999) was a Czech music composer and teacher. He came from a musician family from Tovačov. His father was an organist, choirmaster and violinist. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory and continued his studies at the master school with Josef Suk. His music is emotionally engaged, trembling even in the quietest lyrical singing. It belongs to the most valuable legacy of Czech music of the second half of the twentieth century.
