Six famous melodies by Antonio Vivaldi [1678-1741] were simply arranged for a flute, violin or clarinet with a piano accompaniment. There is a piano part and a separate part for C instrument [flute, violin] and a part for Bb instrument [clarinet]. There are recordings of these compositions included on a CD attached to this book.
Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was an Italian priest, composer and excellent violinist. His most famous work is a set of four violin concertos called Four Seasons. Vivaldi's music formally belongs to the Baroque, but it is very inventive in harmonic contrasts, captivating rhythms and unique melodies. His music exudes the pleasure of composing and the joy of life, which is transmitted to listeners.
