Product description

Concerto in A minor for two violins, strings and basso continuo by Antonio Vivaldi arranged for two violins and piano.
On the enclosed CD the piece has been recorded several times. First all three movements are recorded in full (concert) performance, then each movement is recorded three times, in slow tempo with the violin voice in the background for ease of practice, in medium tempo with piano accompaniment only, and in full tempo with full orchestral accompaniment for your playing with the CD recording.

Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was an Italian priest, composer and excellent violinist. His most famous work is a set of four violin concertos called Four Seasons. Vivaldi's music formally belongs to the Baroque, but it is very inventive in harmonic contrasts, captivating rhythms and unique melodies. His music exudes the pleasure of composing and the joy of life, which is transmitted to listeners.
