Suites and Sketches are instructive pieces to improve the basic habits of guitar playing in the first years of playing the guitar. The compositions are supplemented by brief methodological notes. The Moravská microsuit is presented here in two versions: as a solo version for guitar and second version is arranged for singing with guitar accompaniment. These compositions are intended for pupils of the 3rd - 5th year of playing the guitar at the age 10–13 years.
Stanislav Juřica (*1944) is a composer and teacher who taught classical guitar at the Pardubice Conservatory from 1978 to 2018. He was a co-founder of the International Guitar Festival with masterclasses in Mikulov, which is still one of the top guitar events in Europe. He is well known for his publications in the field of instructional guitar literature and transcription of Renaissance and Baroque guitar and lute music.
