"It Don't Mean A Thing" brings you 10 well-known jazz standards and evergreens by great jazz composers and artists such as Gershwin, Porter, Ellington, Arlen, Hart and others. The pieces are written in arrangements for intermediate musicians, including an example of improvisation. The music notation of the pieces is in the arrangement of the melody line and chord markings, and the lyrics are also included for most of the pieces. A short introduction to the pieces can be found at the beginning of the book.
The songbook also includes a website address or QR code that allows you to download the accompaniments to all the pieces in the book. The accompaniments were recorded by an excellent jazz trio (piano, bass and drums) .
