Product description
In this album you will find songs that are intended for wind instrument players who want to play something new and in a modern spirit. The author of the workbook, Jan Hála, was inspired by popular music when writing compositions, in its various styles and in different ways of interpretation.
In the piano accompaniment, the main melodies are written as they sound (without transposition) and solo parts in various transpositions are added. The part in C is intended for the flute, the oboe and some compositions can also be played on the recorder. The part in Bb is for trumpet, clarinet, soprano or tenor saxophone. The part in Eb will be used by alto or baritone saxophone players and the part in C in the bass clef is intended for trombone players and some pieces can also be played on the for tuba.
Jan Hála (* 1956) is a Czech composer, arranger, pianist and pedagogue at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory.
