The title Baroque Song of Christmas Time offers ten pieces from the 17th century, edited by Jaroslav Krček (* 1939) for small ensemble, family music, but also for concert podium. Upper three voices can be played by any soprano and alto instruments, e.g. violin, viola, flutes, oboes, clarinets, trumpets, French horns but also historical instruments, e.g. violas da gamba etc. The fourth line is composed for bass or tenor instruments such as cello, double bass, bassoon, trombone or tenor or bass gamba. The piano (cembalo) can be played also by harp or organ.“
